Campus Champion
Are you enthusiastic, energetic and fun? Are you passionate about fundraising, PR, marketing, communications, social media and/or event management?
If so, we need you on our team to help us at CAUSE to achieve our goal of giving hope to all those affected by a loved one’s serious mental illness.
At CAUSE we want to bring together the thinkers, leaders and innovators from universities and colleges across Northern Ireland and give you the tools to make it happen! If you’re looking to get involved in something that could really make a difference, this could be the role for you.
What you may be doing
- Helping raise the profile of CAUSE on your campus
- Identifying new ideas and opportunities to maximise on-campus fundraising
- Planning, coordinating and promoting fundraising activities
- Using social media to raise our profile to recruit support and generate much needed funds
- Representing CAUSE on your campus
- Develop your own fundraising campaign in campus
- Receiving training and support from CAUSE learning a variety of skills
- Collaborating with teams within CAUSE and beyond
- Engaging and communicating with the student audience
- Recruiting, motivating and coordinating key volunteers to collaborate with you
- Communicating regularly with your CAUSE contact,
- Being part of a new growing, fun and inspiring movement
Experience and benefits you will gain
- PR and Communications to develop your presentation, written, verbal and listening skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Strategic and Campaign Planning
- Researching and recording data
- How to negotiate and motivate and to work under pressure
- Excellent reference from CAUSE and voluntary experience you can add to your CV
- This is a flexible role for which we’d suggest a few hours a month, or more if you have the time.
