As Chair of the Board of CAUSE, I am proud to introduce our Strategic Plan for 2025–2030. This plan sets out a clear and ambitious direction for the organisation as it continues to support and advocate for families, partners and supporters of people living with serious and enduring mental health challenges across Northern Ireland.

CAUSE is a peer-led organisation. Our frontline Carer Advocates and staff bring unique insight, authenticity and empathy, ensuring that those we support are not only heard but that their experiences inform systemic change across mental health policy and practice. This strategy builds on that foundation, strengthening our services, deepening our impact, and ensuring sustainability for the future.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I commend the dedication of our staff, volunteers, partners and, most importantly, the families and carers we walk alongside. Together, we will continue to champion lived experience, advocate for meaningful change, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those we support and represent.
