Working through a frontline team of trained and experienced peer Carer Advocates, CAUSE supports a current regional caseload of more than 5000 registered carers, with approximately 500 carers actively requiring support at any one time. With over 20,000 carer contacts annually, our staff support this group of mental health carers to sustain their challenging role by supporting them emotionally and practically, by reducing their isolation and by empowering them to proactively engage with their loved one’s journey of recovery.
