On 20 April 2025, CAUSE will be celebrating 30 years of supporting mental health carers.
Originally founded by two parents caring for their son and daughter ill with psychosis, CAUSE has gradually developed into a peer-led charity, run by carers for carers, working across Northern Ireland. For these past 30 years, we have grown organically as a local charity from our first support group in Belfast to working regionally.
We are asking you to ‘Make 30 worthy!’ by getting behind our campaign in whatever way you can!

To mark 30 years of CAUSE, we’ve launched our Pledge Packs fundraising initiative. Throughout 2025, we’re inviting our supporters to create their own fundraising challenge involving the number 30!
